Today I want to share with you How-To make a bright and fun Spring Umbrella!
It’s perfect for your front door, your back door or even on a hook in you entry way!
You’ll love how easy and quick this is to make.
This Tulip filled Umbrella only takes 3 things to make: an umbrella, silk tulips and a bow!
It’s sooo easy and its super cuute!
Once you have your 3 items, you can put this together in about 15 minutes and even have it hanging! I didn’t have to buy anything to make this, I actually had these items already on hand…. And you might too! You could use daffodils or pussy willow branches, any spring flowers would be super cute for using in this. So look around you might surprise yourself with what you have on hand too. 🙂

Ok lets get to making this darling umbrella filled with tulips and ready to hang where it will bring spring cheer to you and all who enter in and out of your home!
- First you need an umbrella
I used one I had! Look around you may have one too. I originally got my green umbrella from Hobby Lobby a few years back, but I linked a few fun ones below, that I found just for you! (you could also check places like Marshals, Michaels and Joann Fabrics).
2. Next you need 3-4 bunches of silk tulips…and this just depends simply on how full you want it to be. (Less is best, I found!)
3. Last a Bow! I added a simple poka-dot Bow, using burlap ribbon with a wired edge. I had it on hand, but it’s from Hobby Lobby too. I have even seen similar ribbon at the dollar store. Again check your stash and see what you have on hand. I think a yellow check or black & white buffalo print, would look oh so cute, grab a roll of your favorite ribbon for bow making (mine is burlap and my 2nd favorite is poka-dots). Use your choice of ribbon choice and make it bright and cheerful and just your style 🙂
Ok now seriously that’s it! I mean there isn’t hardly really directions, cuz its just so soo easy. You just simply put your tulips, in your umbrella how you like them, tie on your bow….and your bow keeps your umbrella a lil bit pulled together. And seriously that’s it!!! No glue, No tape, No sewing, nothing more!
I told you Easy Peasy, Fast and CUUTE!

4. To hang, I simply used a piece of green floral wire. I made a simple loop around my umbrella handle (yes you can see it if you really look at it, but no one does) and I simply hung it with the suction cup hook I use for hanging other wreaths on my door. But To hang in my entry way, it’s even EASIER. I just hung it on our coat hook right from the umbrella handle! That’s it!

Whaalaa, instant pop of spring!

I’d Love to see how you use this super easy spring Idea, so if you make one, share yours with us in the comments below 🙂
Happy Spring!

p.s. to finish my Spring porch, I used the rest of my tulips in a bucket and tied same pokadot ribbon on that too, added my favorite birdhouse, done!
Below are some umbrellas online that would be so cute if you need one for this. Check the ordering sizes and reviews and such, I haven’t ordered any of these ones because I had mine on hand. (No, I do not receive a commission on these, just sharing them if its helpful).
