This was a fun summery gift to give!
My daughter and I wanted to give a gift to her music teacher. We wanted it to be fun and summery, we wanted the gift to be useful with a purpose, not something that would sit on a shelf, so we made a Summer Lemonade jar! It turned out super cute …….and you Only need 3 things to make it!

It was so simple. No sewing, no baking, barley any glue! I LOVE those kinds 🙂
Here’s all you need: 1 cute jar, 6 lemons and green shreds!
And here’s how we did it:
We put some green shreds (dollar store 🙂 and 6 fresh lemons in the jar. Then my daughter simply typed out the recipe, on my laptop, printed it off, cut it out. Next she folded a piece of yellow check cardstock paper (from my tray of paper scraps) in half to make a card. Then she just glued the recipe inside the card. I mean easy right, but yet soo cute, and she loved helping make this gift for her special music teacher!

She also wrote a little note of thanks to her teacher on the inside as well, so it had her personal touch…..and Voila! It was done! A super cute and very practical gift for her special music teacher. This was such a fun gift to give, that I had to share this idea with you. You could use this for a birthday, or mothers day, or as teacher gift, for a friend (like I would love to get this gift:), you could use if for a mom, an aunt, a neighbor, I mean such a great summer gift to give!
Now the water jug I had found at Walmart in the summer items, so check there, but I will list below what I can find that is similiar for you. Now if you have a Marshals, Home Goods or Ross stores they are also great places to find summer decanter jars like this.

I tied on a piece of ribbon and a piece of jute just because I had it in my ribbon drawer and you can too if like.
I hope if you need a special gift to give to some one, that you will put this together and have fun giving it to someone special!
