This homemade Blueberry bread with a pinch of Lemon then wrapped in fun decorative wax paper was the perfect gift for giving to my kids flute teacher, piano teacher and even a loaf for my dad’s June birthday! Is there someone you’d like to show appreciation for at the end of the school year because this bread makes a great gift?

June is just around the corner and you could make this sweet bread, wrapped up cute, and ready to give to Dad, to a teacher or even give to a neighbor or friend on their birthday. I made these moist loaves for my Dad and for teachers.

Here’s how to make the CUTE printed Wax Paper:
Take 2 pieces of wax paper and sandwich a printed napkin or printed piece of tissue paper between the wax papers. Iron for just a few seconds, and I mean FEW SECONDS, moving quickly so as not to let the iron sit in one place for too long. And Wah-Lah…. That’s it
I used an aqua polka-dotted napkin for my breads above. I found the polk-a-dot napkins from my dollar store! The dollar store is also a great place to find tissue papers in bright prints for just a buck$1. You all know me, I LOVE my dollar store! Maybe you have some cute tissue prints on hand, anyway you slice it (yes pun intended 🙂 …..have fun making the Waxed Wrap. It adds a fun dimension of cute-ness to wrapping up a loaf of sweet moist bread.

Now of course once I got going, I got on a roll and grabbed out some birthday tissue I had, and a red polk-a-dot tissue I had and ……well you get the picture. I figured while I had the roll of wax paper near the ironing board, and the iron was hot, well I kept going and made some to keep on hand for future giving. Besides I’ve another lil grand baby coming and wouldn’t it be cute to do baby tissue wax paper to use when taking a meal over 🙂 So you can have a lot of fun while your iron is out and hot or a little fun, you pick! ❤️

Now for the Tag – You can make the tag several easy ways. I made mine on my computer with just a simple font and a free blueberry clipart in word! Copy and paste and print! Yes that easy, Then cut it out, done, Yep, No fancy program needed! You could go suuuper simple and just use a pc black paper punched out round or square and write on it with a white marker for a cute chalkboard looking tag…… and how cute that would be! Use whatch-ya got ladies! And keep it simple 🙂
To attach my tag and to finish it, I used some colored twine to wrap around the bread a few times for a special touch and simply taped the ends underneath with a piece of scotch tape. Thats it! What a fun way to give a loaf of sweet blueberry bread!
