Creamy Caramel Dip – a Fun Winter Bday Gift!

Need a fun & easy Winter Birthday idea for someone special? This gift of fresh apples with my homemade creamy caramel dip for dipping them into is perfect! You can tie it up into a cute birthday gift to fit the month your giving it. I love giving this for January and February birthdays and it’s always well loved by the receiver’s!

Not only is this Creamy Caramel-ly dip yummy and easy……. buts its even healthy with no white sugar! You’re going to love it!

I have been making the creamy delious dip for years! It is a family beloved favorite that I have used for sooooo many ways. I take it on fall camping trips (because you can make it days even a week ahead), for fall bonfires, for birthday gifts like this one, for fall wood hauling day……the list is long and endless, and better yet…….my family NEVER tires of enjoying this with fresh apples. Most often I top the dip with chopped peanuts (my Ultimate favorite) and then I’m not kidding it tastes just like your eating a “caramel apple”! (you’re welcome)

For The tag – just use scraps of Cricut papers! First simply print the words onto white cardstock, cut into a square shape, then layer with some colorful scrap paper squares and its done, just that simple. Easy right! Then just tie up with pretty ribbons, (I add a ribbon around the Carmel Dip jar also)…. And your finished!

Now your Cute Birthday Gift, is ready to Give!

Now you’ll also see above that I recently made this dip and put into fun lil cardboard cups (and then I gave those along with a container of sliced apples and a jar of homemade soup to someone I was taking dinner too!) So many ways to use this long beloved easy recipe!

For those who will ask 🙂 The tag size of the white printed words is approx. 1 ½” square .

Creamy Carmel Dip Recipe!

Creamy Caramel Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 – 8 oz. Organic cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • Couple shakes of salt and of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon creamy peanut butter – see my fav low sugar peanut butter that makes you leave your Jif addiction smiling!

Instructions

    Creamy Caramel Dip ingredients

Beat all really well, for 3-4 minutes until light & creamy, then taste. (Add more peanut butter or sweetness to your liking), then divide into jars and store in the refrigerator. Good for 2-3 weeks

Note: don’t hesitate to add a tad more water if you like it a bit thinner or more “dippable” .

For those that know me, I always try to “healthen” everything up, but you could use regular brown sugar if you desire! You also could use Rapadura sugar, or part stevia or whatever sweetener is your favorite. You can even use a combo of honey & maple syrup, but don’t use all honey because it gets VERY VERY thick after refrigeration and is very hard to “dip” your apples in! But I suppose you could try adding even more water or milk to see if it would stay dippable? Let me know in the comments if you tried this recipe and what was your sweetener of choice!

This is truly a No-fail recipe that your family & friends will love….trust me!

This makes 2 small jars! One to give and one for you to keep and enjoy ❤️

This does NOT taste like cinnamon at all or like peanut butter, but just creamy and caramel-ly, if you want to add more peanut butter and more cinnamon to it (and often I do in the fall season) you can and its equally deeelish! I first concocted this recipe to take with us camping in the fall time and served it topped with chopped peanuts and my-oh-my, it's like eating a caramel apple on the go ❤️
