These Ham & cheesy Pinwheels are great for the holidays, they are warm and cheesy, easy peasy to roll up, aaaand you can have them ready to bake in a quick jiffy! I use crescent dough for these easy pinwheels!
These make a warm finger food for serving at parties to help round out the sweet treats and veggie trays! Right!
Now you can make these 2 ways, WITH spinach or without spinach! I personally love having the green color in them, I think they look festive and deelish, plus adding spinach to things adds some health 🙂 Either way your guests will love these.
NOTE: There is a 3rd way I make these. I use the ham and cheese, but instead of ranch I spread on a bit of pizza sauce, and instead of the spinach I use basil leaves, and whaalaa PIZZA ROLLS!!! Yep, just as well loved!
1. First line a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper
2. Roll out the crescent dough and smoosh your seams together or use crescent sheet, if you can find it, my grocery store is always out! (See picture for sheet dough)

3. Next squirt on some ranch dressing or ranch dip (both work great) and spread it around on the dough.

4. And then I shake on some tasty seasonings. Garlic powder, onion powder, Lil kelp, and some parsley flakes or basil flakes, or you can skip this. DON’T Over-do here, you don’t need much, your ranch is already seasoned with flavor!
5. Lay on your ham slices, then sprinkle on your choice of cheese, then if using the spinach snip that on now too .

I love to use kitchen scissors for cutting greens to add into things. It just snips them into easy bite size pieces. You can do half with spinach and half without spinach also!

Next you roll it up just like you roll cinnamon rolls, and pinch the long seam tight or they will UNROLL when they bake (-ask me how I know-) and then they won’t look like pinwheels!

6. Then simply slice them up , again just like you’d slice cinnamon rolls and lay them on there sides, on the parchment paper. Yes, the same piece of parchment! This makes suuuper easy baking and suuuper easy clean up (Yay! Right, we all love that!)

7. Bake them in preheated oven at 350 degrees until golden and melty! They’ll take between 18 – 25 min. according to your likeness. Then serve them and enjoy the compliments you’ll receive and the easy clean up!
This is a perfect finger sized holiday appetizer no matter which way you choose to make them up. (then remember to take a good picture….. which is another flaw I have, it’s forgetting to get a GOOD picture before they get all gobbled up!)

They are great for Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve parties, and even for Easter brunches. I Hope you bake up some of these Easy appetizers for your next holiday party!
