About It’s a Delight

Meet Annette

Hi, I’m Annette—wife, mom of six, and grandma. I started It’s a Delight to share the homemaking skills that have served my family well for over 40 years: canning and fermenting (one jar at a time), growing herbs for nourishing teas, making simple, realfood meals, and creating thoughtful, seasonal gifts from what you already have on hand.
I like to walk alongside you like a good friend—keeping things simple, practical, and doable in a real home and real kitchen.

What You’ll Find Here
Homemaking skills you can use this week: canning, fermenting, dehydrating herbs, and timesaving kitchen tips.
Garden-to-table basics: growing, harvesting, and preserving so nothing goes to waste.
Simple seasonal gifts: easy projects that bless your home and others—made with what’s already in your pantry or garden.

Why I’m Here
I want to equip you with simple, valuable skills that bring health and beauty into your home. Whether you’re learning food preservation, making health conscious recipes, or creating easy seasonal gifts, I’m here to guide you along the way.

What I Believe
Homemaking doesn’t have to be fancy to be good. Small, everyday choices add up to a healthier, happier home. I’m grateful for what God provides and I love sharing it with others (2 Corinthians 9:15).
Pour a cup of tea and join me—let’s learn, make, and share good things together.

Delightfully Yours, Annette
