Hello Jolee, as for grass seed I had used some old bulk bagged stuff we had around the house that we&#039;d gotten from our local hardware store.  I have done this over the years many times and also just literally used whatever my husband had leftover from seeding something outside the previous summer:)  I think any will grow and sprout easily! Hope it turns out beautiful.  Once made save the base after the grass dies and the season is over, you can just sprinkle on new seed and spray with water again next spring and you can re-use it for many Easter seasons to come by just adding new seed each year!]]></description>
