Hello Lori, Its a total of 4 1/2 cups flour. But as in any yeast bread recipe some times you need a tad less flour, sometimes a tad more. So add in that last 1/2 cup as needed just to keep nice soft dough slightly tacky yet, without becoming dry. Hope they turned out wonderful my friend!
